It is often necessary to extract contacts from the phone and transfer them to a computer or other mobile device. This process is called synchronization and is performed in several stages.
Instructions
Step 1
Install on your personal computer a special program for data exchange, suitable for your phone model. As a rule, a disc with such a distribution kit is supplied with the device. You can also download the installer from the manufacturer's official website. Click on the installation file for the application and follow the instructions during the installation.
Step 2
Prepare a dedicated USB cable to connect the device. Usually it is also included in the package. You can use a Bluetooth adapter if your phone and computer support this type of information exchange. Pair both devices.
Step 3
Run the installed software and select the "Synchronization" menu item in it. After a while, a list with suggested data for synchronization will appear on the screen. Select among them the contacts of your phone book and continue the operation. Wait a moment, the contacts will be extracted and saved on the computer. You can edit them or dispose of them in another way.
Step 4
You can also perform the reverse order of synchronization - transfer files from your computer to your phone. Sometimes this is a useful procedure to help free up memory on a particular device. You can set it to be carried out automatically every time the phone is connected.
Step 5
Remove contacts from the SIM card if you installed it in a new mobile phone. To do this, open the phone book and select the "Transfer contacts from SIM" item in the menu. If you saved data on a memory card, insert it into the device and perform the "Transfer contacts from Micro-SD" operation.
