The basics of the HTML-language of hypertext markup of documents are currently necessary not only for web-masters, but also for numerous LJ-users, as well as other users of the blogosphere. Knowing HTML, you can diversify your text with links to other resources.
Instructions
Step 1
Use a visual editor to make a word in the text a link to a third-party resource.
Step 2
Copy the address you will link to to your clipboard.
Step 3
Highlight the word that you plan to make a hyperlink.
Step 4
Click on the "Insert / Edit Link" button (usually displayed as closed chain links). A new window will open.
Step 5
In the window that appears, fill in the fields: insert the address, enter the title, specify in which window to open the link in the original or in the new one. Save your changes.
Step 6
Use HTML tags if you want to manually hyperlink a word.
Step 7
Paste the following in HTML format: the word that will be the link. Save your changes.
