It is not every day that computer users are faced with technical problems, i.e. at the hardware level. Of course, there is always a solution, but in some cases, an accidental keyboard failure causes bewilderment, because without it, just like without a mouse, it becomes impossible to do anything.

If such a problem arises, the sales assistant of the store where the keyboard was bought can only advise to exchange it for a similar or equal price. Before doing this, it is recommended to use the tips that will be described below, because most problems with controllers are solved by standard methods (without using repairs). In some cases, the problem may be a software failure. To check whether this is so or not, you must restart the keyboard. To do this, you need to use a working mouse. Click the Start menu and select Control Panel. In the window that opens, double-click on the "System" icon. In the "System Properties" applet window, go to the "Hardware" tab and click the "Device Manager" button. In the window that opens, find the controller, right-click on it and select "Delete". Answer positively to the request to remove the device by pressing the "OK" button. Close the Device Manager and System Properties applets. Go to Control Panel and double-click the Add Hardware icon. In the window that opens, click the "Next" button. After some time, the “keyboard” controller will be defined and added to the list of system devices. Most likely, a small window will appear on the screen (on top of all windows) with a message about the successful installation of the device driver and a proposal to reboot. Answer affirmatively by pressing the "Yes" button if the keyboard still does not work. It should be noted that in some cases the definition of the keyboard does not depend on its restart, since this is only true for PS / 2 controllers. USB devices fail in cases of malfunction or failure of the controller itself. But here, too, the "recipe" will be similar: remove all usb controllers, reinstall and use again after reboot.
