Step 1
The easiest and fastest way to upload to the desktop is to select a photo, open the context menu by right-clicking and select "Set as desktop background".

Another method is longer, but allows you to customize the image depending on your desires and preferences. Go to the "Start" menu, select "Control Panel". Depending on the version of the operating system, the name of the item you are looking for may be different, but the meaning remains the same. Find the item "Desktop decoration". Select Change Desktop Background. On the page that opens, you need to select an image that is subsequently used as the background image of the desktop.
Step 3
First, choose the location of the image. Select Windows Desktop Backgrounds, Picture Library, Most Popular Photos, Solid Colors, or Pictures from the drop-down list. You can select any specific folder in which the photo you need is stored. The largest window will display thumbnails of images in the specified folder. With one click of the left mouse button, you can set one of them as your desktop background.
Step 4
Low resolution photos are likely to be centered on the screen. If you want to change the position of the picture, select one of the image positions from the list below the thumbnail window: "Fill", "Fit", "Stretch", "Tile" or "Center". By clicking on each of them, you will immediately see the changes on the desktop.

After the work done, you will need to save. Click the button at the bottom of the "Save changes" window. Finally close the toolbox window and enjoy your new desktop background.
