It so happens that it is completely impossible to remember the password. In the daily running, you simply forgot access to Skype. The task is especially complicated if you came up with it with the expectation of maximum safety, i.e. it contains about a dozen characters, including letters and numbers. In this situation, the main thing is to remember the mailbox that you used when registering your account on Skype. If there is no problem with this, then finding and changing the password will be quite simple.

Step 1
Go to Skype. Go to the password recovery page. You will see a single input line in which you enter the mailbox used to create your account and click the "Submit" button. Then go to this mailbox. Wait for the letter from the Skype Support Center. It will contain a unique link, by clicking on which you can change your password. This link will be valid for only six hours, so hurry up. Given the nature of the letter, it can be distributed both in the Inbox folder and in the Spam folder. Check both of them to find the password. Follow this link. Enter your new password, then re-enter it and click the Change Password button.
Step 2
Log into Skype with your saved password. To find out your Skype password, you first need to find out your mailbox. It is indicated when filling out the registration form, which is displayed in personal data. In the upper panel of the program, go to Skype, then "Personal data" -> "Edit my data". A section with personal information will appear, where you can see the registered mailbox. Finding out the password from Skype will be much more difficult if the auto login and the mailbox to which the account is registered are not saved, you do not remember. But there is an alternative method.
Step 3
Please contact technical support. This method will be effective if you have a paid account. When contacting the technical support center, you indicate the number of the credit card with which payments were made or the number of the Internet wallet. The center's specialists check this data and send you a password. If you use a free account, this method of password recovery is not available to you and you will most likely have to get a new account.
