Instructions

Step 1

Delphi differs primarily in that there is no need to download additional software packages for writing and compiling. The compiler comes with the package of the programming language itself, which makes it easier to work with this language. To write a program, you need to run the Delphi compiler. At startup, a new project is automatically created, with which you need to work. To create a new project, you can always use the corresponding menu item (File - New - Application).

Step 2

Next, you need to create the necessary component on the form that is displayed after creating the application. To do this, select the required item in the palette of components and then select the desired place of the shape and size by dragging the rectangular area with the left mouse button. To create several components at once, the selection in the palette should be carried out while holding down the Shift key.

Step 3

Next, you need to create a handler for the component. The required component is selected on the form, then you need to go to the "Events" tab of the object inspector. Then you need to double-click on the name of the event, after which the required method will be created from the template.

Step 4

Then, to start the program, just press the F9 button, or Run on the toolbar.
