An avatar is a small picture chosen by the user for his graphic presentation on forums, blogs or online pagers. Many sites and programs have specific requirements for the size of the images used. On the Internet today you can find many standard avatars for every taste, but sometimes you want to put something special, individual. In this case, you have to adjust the image size to fit the established rules.
Instructions
Step 1
As a rule, on most resources it is not allowed to upload pictures larger than 100x100 pixels and weighing more than 1 MB. Therefore, in order to create an avatar from a photo you like, you first have to reduce its size. This can be done in several ways.

First of all, you can use any graphics program, from standard Windows operating system applications to such "heavyweights" of design as Adobe Photoshop. For a not very experienced user, it will be easiest to use the standard Paint. NET program included in the basic Windows package.
Step 3
To open this program, go to the following path: "START" - "Standard" - "Paint. NET". In the main menu of the program, select the path "File" - "Open" and in the window that appears, select the file with the image you need. After the graphic file is loaded, you can work with the image.
Step 4
To reduce or enlarge the picture, select "Resize". In the window that opens, find the line "Size in pixels" and under it two small fields to insert the required values. Select the size you want. The default for an avatar is 100x100 pixels. Click the "OK" button and follow the program prompts to save the modified image.

If working on your own with a graphic program seems too difficult, you can use one of the online services for creating avatars. Go to the website https://resize.allavatars.ru/ and click the Browse button next to an empty field. A standard Windows window will open, reflecting the directories and files on your computer. Select the desired file and click "OK". In the lower field, select the desired size instead of a custom one, click the "Next" button and follow the detailed instructions of the system. As a result, you will receive a ready-made avatar of the size and type you need.
