Counter Strike is a popular network game that has the ability to flexibly customize its functions and controls. So, each player can create his own color logo and use it as a spray during team play. To do this, you need to place the necessary graphic files in the game directory.
Instructions
Step 1
To use your own image, you will need to delete the default logo files in the game directory. To do this, open your Counter Strike folder and change to the cstrike directory. Usually the game is located in the folder "Start" - "Computer" - "Local drive C:" - games - CS1.6 - cstrike, but the path to the files may vary depending on the version. To find out where the folder is located, right-click on the game's shortcut on your desktop and select Properties. The value in the "Object" field of the window that appears will tell you the location of the game directory.
Step 2
Remove the logos directory from the folder. It is also advisable to clear the cstrike_russian / logos and valve / logos directories. You can use the Del key of the keyboard to delete. Place the custom.hpk file located in the cstrike / cstrike_russian / folder into the trash can.
Step 3
Open your archive with logos downloaded from the internet or made with a custom logo maker. Check that the archive contains decal.wad, tempdecal.wad and pldecal.wad files.
Step 4
Select these files and place them in the cstrike, valve and cstrike directories - Russian. When asked to overwrite files, click "Yes" and wait for the copy operation to complete.
Step 5
Start the game and go to any game server. Do not change the logo display options, otherwise all the settings made may be lost. The setup is complete.
Step 6
You can either download a ready-made logo from the Internet, or create a new one yourself. To create a new one, use the specialized utility HalfLife Logo Creator. Run the program and specify the path to your hl.exe in the game directory. In the Open item of the toolbar, select your image file from which you want to make an icon. If the photo file is too large, press the Autosize key. Set the Make a color logo for mod to Couner Strike. Specify your Counter Strike folder in the Save it to field and click "Replace". The drawing of the logo is complete.
