To protect the copyright of your captured and edited video, you can overlay it with a special logo that cannot be removed by other users. The logo in the video file can be inserted both as an image and in text format. To add it, you can use video editing utilities.
Instructions
Step 1
You can use VirtualDub to add an image or text to your video. Download the application from the Internet and unpack it on your computer using WinRAR. Go to the directory just created by the archiver and open the VirtualDub.exe file.

After launching the utility, open your video file through the File - Open menu. To overlay the copyright on the image, you will need to use the filters built into the program. After uploading the video file, go to the Video - Filters section and then press the Add button.

Among the proposed list of filters for processing a video file, specify the line logo and click Ok. You will see a window for adjusting the required parameters. Click the Browse button and specify the path to the image that is stored on your computer. If your picture is made on a black background and will not be visible, check the box next to Enable pre-pixel alpha.
Step 4
To adjust the location of the copyright, you can use the button for previewing Preview, which is located in the lower left corner of the program window. Set the position of the logo along the X and Y axes and click Ok.
Step 5
Check the display quality of your logo. To save the obtained result, use the File - Save menu of the upper program panel.

You can also use other utilities to add a logo to your video. Movavi Video Converter is one of the most popular programs. Adding text or images in this application is carried out through the corresponding item in the settings menu. You can also use the VidLogo utility or Ulead Videostudio. In these applications, adding is also carried out using a filter or the Watermark section. At this point, you can insert the desired text, select its size and color.
