The ability to automatically launch the necessary programs when loading a user profile is present in all modern versions of the Windows operating system. This feature is very convenient, and therefore, many applications have a mechanism for adding them to the startup list. However, in a much larger number of programs there is no such functionality. But this does not constitute a problem, since, having the rights to edit the registry, you can manually enable the program to start automatically.

Instructions
Step 1
Display the program launch window. Click on the "Start" button located on the taskbar. In the menu that opens, click on the "Run" item. If Run is not on the menu, add it. To do this, right-click on the "Start" button, select "Properties" in the context menu. The Taskbar and Start Menu Properties dialog box appears. Click the Configure button. Select the Show Run Command check box in the list of options. Click OK twice.
Step 2
Start Windows Registry Editor. In the "Run Program" dialog in the "Open" line, enter "regedit". Click the "OK" button.
Step 3
Open one of the registry keys that contains the autorun settings. If you want to automatically start the program only when the current user profile is loaded, expand the HKEY_CURRENT_USER section. Expand the HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE section if you want the program to run when any user profile is loaded. Next, sequentially open the Software, Microsoft, Windows and CurrentVersion registry branches. Highlight the Run section.
Step 4
Create a new string parameter in the Run section. In the main application menu, click on the "Edit" item, in the child menu, select the "New" item, and then click on the "String parameter" item.
Step 5
Rename the parameter you just created. Right-click on the "New Option # 1" line in the right pane of the Registry Editor. In the context menu, select the "Rename" item. Enter a new parameter name that is more descriptive of the application added to autostart. Press the Enter key to commit your changes.
Step 6
Enable autostart of the program. Change the value of the added parameter. Double-click the left mouse button on the line with the name entered in the previous step. The "Change String Parameter" window opens. In the "Value" field of this window, enter the command that should run the program. You need to enter the full path (with the drive name) to the executable module, the name of the module, as well as the parameters for its launch. Click the "OK" button.
Step 7
Check the correctness of the changes. Close the registry editor. Reboot your computer. Make sure the program you want starts up.
