Partitioning of a flash drive is done using a number of programs - from controller manufacturers or universal utilities. After launching such software products, appropriate actions are selected and performed. If the result turned out to be zero, you must completely reflash the controller using special software.

BootIt program or other utilities from manufacturers of flash drives, controllers, universal programs
Instructions
Step 1
Run the BootIt program. Using the context menu, select the "Fix compatibility problems" item, run the program using the recommended parameters.
Step 2
Select the flash drive that you are going to put into HDD mode and click "Flip Removable Bit". Remove the device and reinsert.
Step 3
Enter "Disk Management", select the item "Delete volume …", perform the necessary actions. If the result is zero, use the program for flashing the controller from the manufacturer of the flash drive.
