The ideal solution in these cases would be to transfer your videos from the hard drive to external media. DVDs are great for these purposes. They are very compact and store the recorded information for a long time. In addition, they may well fit several films at once.

Step 1
Insert a blank DVD into your computer's drive. Open the Nero Burning ROM application. Create a new compilation for disc burning. To do this, select the "File" and "New" items in the main menu. A dialog box for creating a new project will appear on the screen.
Step 2
In this dialog, set the parameters of the new project. On the right, in the drop-down list of the window, select DVD, and below select the line DVD-ROM (ISO). Click the New button. The new project will be displayed in the application window.
Step 3
In the "File Browser" window, open the folder with movie files to burn to disk. They will be displayed in the adjacent file browser. If the files are in different directories, open them one at a time.
Step 4
Drag and drop the required files into the compilation window of the disc to be burned. Burn movies to disc. To do this, select the "Recorder" and "Burn Compilation …" items in the main menu.
Step 5
You will see the Burn Disc dialog box on the screen. Check all the set parameters for movie recording. In the "Label" tab in the "Disc name" field, specify the desired name for your disc.
Step 6
Click the "Burn" button to start recording. Next, the screen will display the process of burning movies to DVD. It takes several minutes for the program to write files to disk. Upon completion of the burning, the application itself will pull out the drive tray with the burned disc.
