After all, even a fairly capacitive hard drive can fill up in just a few months. Finding out the capacity of your hard drive is pretty simple. And if its size seems too small for you, it's okay, because you can always buy another hard drive.

Step 1
One of the easiest ways to find out the size of a hard drive is with the system. Open My Computer. Click on the hard disk partition with the right mouse button. In the context menu that appears after that, select "Properties".

In the window that appears, find the "Capacity" section. Information about its capacity will be available there. After you know the capacity of one partition, do the same with the next one. Thus, the sum of the hard disk partitions will be its total capacity.
Step 3
Also, such information can be found using numerous diagnostic programs. Download AIDA64 Extreme Edition from the Internet. Install it on your computer hard drive. Run the program.
Step 4
After scanning your system, you will find yourself in the main menu of AIDA64. In the right window of the program, select "Computer", and then in the next window - "Summary information". After a few seconds, information about all the components of the computer will appear in the program window.
Step 5
The information will be available in sections. Find the "Data Storage" section. Next, find the line "Total size". The value of this line is the total size of the hard disk.
Step 6
Also in this section there will be information about the model name of your hard drive and the manufacturer. By right-clicking on the hard disk model name, you will see the link "Product Information". By selecting it, you will open an Internet page where you can familiarize yourself with the parameters of the hard drive.
