Instructions
Step 1
Look at the back of your system unit. There you will find many inputs of various cards, among which you need to find a sound card. There are many nests in it, each of which is marked with a specific color, which greatly simplifies the task. Please note, when connecting the sub to the computer, that its plugs also have a certain color, most likely matching the color of the sound card connectors.
Step 2
Assemble the device. To do this, you need to unpack the entire set and connect, using the appropriate commutation, all the speakers in the set directly to the subwoofer. Then plug it in and turn the switch to the "On" position. Then plug the subwoofer plug into the matching color jack on your sound card. There may be such a situation that you will not find a color match. Under each nest, a small picture or inscription is drawn explaining its purpose. Find the jack for your speaker. As a rule, it is marked with the inscription "Line out". Having found it, it will be easy enough to connect the sub.
Step 3
Adjust the subwoofer setting. This is quite simple to do. After you have connected the entire system to the sound card, a dialog box for managing the sound card settings will appear on your monitor. Several options for the subwoofer operation will be offered: output to the center channel, output to the side speakers, output to the rear speakers. You will also see options for configuring line-in and microphone. You are not interested in them at the moment. Check the box next to the "Exit to the center channel" parameter. You can assume that you managed to connect a sub to your computer.
