For loved ones who, by coincidence, are at a great distance from each other, Skype is a real godsend, because it allows you not only to communicate in real time, but also to send the necessary files to your interlocutors.
Instructions
Step 1
Skype is a really great way to send all kinds of files online. At the same time, unlike e-mail, Skype does not impose restrictions on the size of the sent file. In addition, the program allows you to send documents directly from computer to computer, bypassing the Skype Internet service, which can significantly reduce the time for sending a message. In addition, the data transfer rate depends only on the specific connection channel between the two users.
Step 2
Only registered users who are online can send messages and various files via Skype. Log in to Skype and wait for the system to boot up and show you your contact list. Hover over the person you want to send a text or multimedia document to. Double-click the left mouse button on the selected contact.
Step 3
Your interlocutor must be near the computer to approve the file submission. Perhaps he needs to be warned that you want to transfer the file. Skype cannot be turned off until the document is fully downloaded to the addressee's computer.
Step 4
By clicking on the line of the required user, you will open a message window. Click on the "+" button located at the top of the dialog box next to the "Call" and "Video Call" buttons. Using the "Explorer" program that opens, specify the path to the file that you want to send to your interlocutor. Select the required folder or document by clicking on it with the left mouse button. Click "Submit" and "OK" to confirm your actions. Now your interlocutor must agree to transfer the file and indicate the path on the computer where he wants to save the data.
Step 5
After the download starts, you will see a data transfer indicator in the text message window. With each kilobyte sent, it increases slightly in length. When it reaches the end, the file will be transferred.
