Step 1
Download from the Internet the fonts that you will use for your book, as well as diagrams, drawings and other illustrative material. Also choose a dedicated editor to create the cover. Install the fonts by copying them to the appropriate menu in your computer's control panel.

Open your book in a text editor, Open Office or Microsoft Office Word is fine. Make sure that the font is the same size evenly throughout the book. To do this, select all the text using the keyboard shortcut Ctrl + A. Click on the format button.

Adjust the indents, set the spacing. Please note that the most readable text is text with 12-14 fonts using one and a half line spacing. Align the text to the width, adjust the rest of the parameters to your liking. Apply formatting and save the result.

Edit the title. It is best to make them bold or colored, or use a different size or underline. It is also possible to download additional fonts to highlight chapters.
Step 5
Change the background of the book. It is not always convenient to read information on white pages of a document, so it is better to make it a pale shade of blue, green, pink - any color. You can also use special templates to insert a picture or texture, but this will distract the reader from the main information in the text. Don't make the background bright - this can make your eyes tired. Insert illustrations and tables.
Step 6
Pay close attention to the spacing between chapters, make sure they are the same. Insert pagination, style content. The most convenient way to style the content is by using hyperlinks - to do this, create a bookmark on specific chapters, and then choose to insert a link to it in the content menu.
Step 7
Save your work. Design the cover of the book, it is best to do it yourself in any graphics editor, in Adobe Photoshop. If necessary, use a dedicated text converter to convert it to PDF, Java or any other reading format.
