Not every user can boast of excellent knowledge of English. And it's not so scary if you have to play a shooter in an unknown language - but it is absolutely impossible to complete a quest or RPG without delving into the characters' lines. In such cases, a crack comes to the rescue.

Step 1
Determine the version on which the crack should be installed. This is very important, since incorrectly set, it will not only work with errors, but can completely damage the data of the game so much that it will stop running. However, the official domestic localization is spared from this problem, if any - it can be installed on almost any version of the game.
Step 2
Back up your files. Installing a crack, as a rule, is an irreversible process, so if you have not taken care of backing up in advance, then the only way to restore the game's performance is to completely reinstall it. Carefully trace which files are responsible for the language of the game, and copy them to a separate folder. Even if at first glance everything works correctly, do not rush to delete the backup, because it is possible that the error will be revealed during the passage of the last levels.
Step 3
Look for Russification with the installer. The presence of a well-designed installer can, to some extent, guarantee the translation's performance, so try to download not dubious archives, but whole software. The size of the text in the game rarely exceeds several megabytes, and there is no need to download additional files besides the.exe itself. In addition, such an installation will require the least effort from you - just open the file and specify the path where the product is installed.

Installing the crack "manually" occurs by replacing the files. The user downloads an archive of the.rar format, inside which there are documents similar to certain components of the game. Your goal is to replace old files with new ones. Look inside for a file called readme, it should contain instructions on where to unpack the archive. If there is none, then look for files with similar names in the directory yourself.
