If you decide to use the new Skype Internet communications program, you may have a number of problems and related questions. One of the most common cases of this program malfunctioning is a small echo that occurs during the broadcast. There are several ways to deal with this problem.
Instructions
Step 1
Try reinstalling the program. It is possible that your settings are out of order, and instead of looking for a problem for a long time and monotonously, try to simply "start from scratch". It is best to download the latest version from the official site, do not download Skype from third-party sites.
Step 2
Go to the program settings if reinstallation still does not give the desired results. Try to find the section related to your microphone and experiment if you don't see a clear reason for echoing. Perhaps the problem is in the sound hardware, try reconfiguring your audio system or sound card settings on your computer if you do not use external speakers.
Step 3
Go to "Start" - "Settings" - "Control Panel" - "Configure Audio Devices or Microphone" if none of the above helps. Perhaps it's not how the device is configured in skype, but how it works, make sure that you do not have a marker in the echo settings or that the "scene" or "opera" mode is not enabled in the sound settings, it is quite possible that these functions work in skype too.
Step 4
Contact the program support service if the problem persists, the technical consultant will be able to give you additional information about possible foci of the problem after analyzing the situation - your operating system, webcam and microphone or laptop model. Just follow the instructions of the consultant, and, most likely, everything will work.
