Ban, as a means of fighting cheaters, is quite common in Counter Strike. The main disadvantage of a ban is that there are always ways to get around it. However, there are several ways to ban a player.
Instructions
Step 1
The most used is to ban a player by IP address. It is carried out in the console by prescribing the amxmodmenu command. After that, specify the Ban command in the menu that opens. The disadvantage of such a ban is the possibility of the cheater changing the IP address.
Step 2
Use a subnet ban. to do this, determine the player's IP address and enter the value amx_banip "ban_time" IP address in the console.

Download and install a special plugin that allows you to add a ban to amx players Amx Ban CS. Place the plugin archive files in your server's cstrike folder. Enter the value amx_bancs.amxx in a file named plugins.ini located at cstrike / addons / amxmodx / configs / plugins.ini.
Step 4
Start the server and wait for the player to appear who needs to be banned. Enter the command amx_bancs playername in the console.
Step 5
Use other commands of the installed plugin as well:
- amx_bancsmenu - to display the plugin menu;
- amx_unbancs - to remove a ban;
- amx_bancslist - to display the entire list of those who received a ban;
- amx_reasons - to display the reason for the ban;
- amx_bantimes - to display the ban time.
Step 6
Try an alternative method of adding a ban to the selected player. To do this, enter the value vote in the console and determine the number of the player you want to ban. Type amx_ban # player_number.
Step 7
Download and install the HLSW app to simplify and automate the process of adding a ban to players. To do this, you need to register in the program and add your server to the list. After entering the rcon password in the appropriate field, go to the BAN tab on the Administrator page and perform the required action.
Step 8
Please note that all of the above methods of adding a ban to a player in Counter Strike require administrator access to the server.
