Step 1
To connect the console, your computer must have two network cards, and they must be fully operational. To do this, you need to install the drivers.

Take a close look at the Xbox 360 chassis. The back of the console has exactly the same interface as the network card that is installed on your computer. Connect the second NIC on your computer to the console using the cable that came with the device. If not, you can purchase it separately.

Next, turn on the internet connection on your computer. After that, turn on the Xbox 360. You will see that the PC has fixed two network connections: the computer to the Internet and the console.

Now you need to open the Xbox Live component on your console. After that, go to the Automatic section. In a few seconds, the system will configure all the necessary parameters, and the set-top box will be connected to the Internet.

You can also customize the viewing of files from the console. For this, the Windows media center is used. If this component is not already installed on your operating system, you can download it from the Internet. The following steps must be performed after the console is already connected to the PC (described above).
Step 6
Start Windows media center. Select "Settings", then - "Connecting an entertainment system". Click on "Search". A notification appears to allow the console to connect. Click Next. You will be prompted to enter your password.
Step 7
Next, the media center is turned on on the console. After checking the IP address of the computer, a password should appear. Sometimes you will see an error notification. Just select "Next". The procedure will be repeated. Enter this password in the window that appeared earlier, and then click "Next". The computer should now sync with the console.
