Step 1

Connect your game console via a router. If you have ADSL internet, determine the number of network outputs in the modem. If there is more than one, then set the router to modem mode, and you need to connect the set-top box to the computer to the modem and do not change anything in it.

If there is only one network output from the modem, configure the PPPoE-parameters in the PPPoE set-top box, i.e. enter the username and password of the ADSL connection, and each time to connect the set-top box to the computer, you will need to change the wires. If you are using a VPN, then connect the set-top box directly through your computer or through a router.

Connect your game console through the second NIC in your computer. The console has a power cord that you use to connect your Xbox to your computer. Set up your computer: Determine which network connection the NIC uses to connect the console, rename it accordingly.
