Instructions
Step 1
Select one of the video applications. The Windows operating system has a standard video editor - Movie Maker, which is suitable for this purpose. In addition to it, you can use more complex and professional applications with more functionality.
Step 2
Start the selected editor program. Create a new project, for which select the menu "File" -> "New" (or "File" -> "New"). Specify the appropriate video settings: resolution, aspect ratio, frames per second, and others.
Step 3
Using the menu "File" -> "Open" (or "File" -> "Import" in some applications) add the required video to the program. After that, create a video track on the timeline of the program and move the video file to it with the mouse. To do this, left-click on it and, without releasing it, move the file to the pasteboard. If necessary, use the program's toolkit to trim the video.
Step 4
Similarly, import into the program and the audio recording that you want to combine with the video. After that, create an audio track on the timeline of the application and move the audio to it. To do this, also left-click on the file, then, without releasing it, move the audio to the timeline.
Step 5
If necessary, use the mouse to match the audio to the video. Tweak the audio on the timeline until it matches the video properly. If necessary, trim it using the toolkit of the program.
Step 6
Save the resulting project. To do this, select "File" -> "Save As" ("File" -> "Calculate As" or "File" -> "Export" in some applications). Specify a name for the saved file, select the desired video format, and check the settings specified when creating the project. Additionally, specify the settings for audio - bit rate and frequency. Click the "Save" button and wait for the process to finish.
