The Google Chrome browser has a built-in translator function that works similarly to the Google Translate service on the web. To activate the page translator, you first need to enable the corresponding options in your browser settings. To do this, click on the menu button in the upper right corner of the application screen. In the list of parameters, select the "Settings" section.

Scroll to the bottom of the page that opens, and then click on the link "Show advanced settings". Go down to the "Languages" section and check the box next to "Offer page translation". To configure the selected parameter, click the "Configure languages and input methods" button.

In the list that appears, select the options that are most convenient for you. You can check the box "Always translate into Russian" so that pages in a foreign language will be translated automatically. You can also specify the languages that you speak by clicking on "Never translate" and adjusting the appropriate options.

Now, when you visit this or that Internet resource, the program will ask if you need to translate foreign words in the document. From the options offered, you can choose the appropriate parameters or refuse to perform operations on the text of the page. If the Chrome bar is grayed out, you can also translate the page you want. To do this, you just need to right-click on a free area of the page and select the "Translate into Russian" option.

For other browsers, there are also applications for activating the translator. So, you can install an electronic dictionary ABBYY Lingvo or Multilex, and then enable the display of the display of the meanings of foreign words on a particular page in the program settings.
