Port forwarding is used by most programs under the Windows platform to provide connections over secure ports. Each of these utilities uses a TCP / IP connection, which in itself is not a secure solution.

Necessary

  • - D-Link DIR-320 router;
  • - Flylink DC ++ software.

Instructions

Step 1

To perform port forwarding, it is possible to use not only the Flylink utility, but also any other DC ++ client. To download this particular client, you need to go to https://www.flylinkdc.ru and select the download link. If your system is 32-bit, use the x86 version, otherwise click the link with the x64 index.

Step 2

After installing this program, launch shortcuts can be found on the desktop. Double click on the recently appeared icon, the main window of the program will appear in front of you. Click the top menu "File" and select "Preferences" or press the keyboard shortcut Ctrl + O.

Step 3

In the "Program settings" window that opens, pay attention to the block of links - these are the section tabs. Click on the link "Connection settings". All available settings for this section will be displayed on the right side of the window.

Step 4

Go to the "Configure Inbound Values" section and select the "Manual Port Forwarding Firewall" option. In the empty TCP and UDP fields, you must specify your values, which will be over 9-10 thousand units. For example, TCP = 20003 and UDP = 30584. It is worth noting that both values can have the same metrics (it all depends on your ISP).

Step 5

Then, in the empty field "External / WAN IP", you must enter the IP address provided by the provider (see the service agreement). Now click on the "OK" button to close the client settings window.

Step 6

Open your browser and enter 192.168.1.1 in the address bar. In the dialog box that opens, enter the username and password admin (in lower case letters).

Step 7

Go to SETUP and select LAN Setup. In the DHCP Reservation block, you must specify the IP address assigned to you by your provider (the value specified in the "External / WAN IP" field). Save the settings and reboot the modem.
