The 3G modem can be used in Android tablets. With this device you will be able to access the Internet. The modem is connected via the corresponding USB slot on the body of the device, and to access the Internet, you will need to set the necessary settings through the tablet menu.
Instructions
Step 1
Unlock the tablet and use the "Settings" button in the main menu of the device to access the connection settings. In the menu that appears, select the section "Wireless networks" - "Mobile network".

Check the box next to Data transmission to activate the connection via 3G cellular networks.
Step 3
Install the modem into the USB port of the tablet. Most devices use a mini or micro USB output. To install the modem, you may need to plug in a special adapter, which can be purchased at a cell phone, accessory, and computer supply store. Connect the adapter to the tablet port, and install a USB modem on the other end of the wire.
Step 4
Wait for the device to be detected in the system, after which you will see the 3G network icon at the top of the screen. Go to the APN Access Point section to add a new setting for the modem. Select New Access Point.
Step 5
Enter the details of your operator, which may be indicated in the instructions for using the modem. Also, some of the settings can be activated automatically if your modem is locked for a specific operator. Check the entered parameters. The fields APN, "Username", "Password" are especially important.
Step 6
For Beeline, the APN point is internet.beeline.ru. For MTS, specify the internet.mts.ru parameter, and for Megafon, simply enter the internet value. The username will correspond to the name of your operator in the Latin alphabet (mts or beeline). For Megafon, enter the username gdata. The password for accessing the network is the same as the username. In the MCC field, enter parameter 250. If you use MTS, specify 01 for the MNC value, 99 for Megafon, and 02 for Beeline.
Step 7
Save your changes and wait a few seconds for the settings to apply. If all parameters have been entered correctly, after switching to the "Browser" program, you will be able to view pages on the Internet.
