The virtual keyboard is analogous to a regular one. It appears on the monitor screen, text input is carried out using the mouse. There are several steps you need to take to enable the virtual keyboard.
Instructions
Step 1
The Windows operating system provides an on-screen keyboard for people with disabilities. To open it, click the "Start" button or the Windows key, expand all programs in the menu. In the "Standard" folder, select the "Accessibility" subfolder and click on the "On-screen keyboard" item with the left mouse button.
Step 2
Launching the onscreen keyboard does not prevent you from entering text using the normal keyboard. To prevent the virtual keyboard from hiding behind the windows of other programs and folders, in the application window, click on the "Options" menu item and place the marker opposite the "On top of other windows" sub-item by clicking the left mouse button. Layout switching is carried out using the language bar in the notification area on the taskbar.
Step 3
The on-screen keyboard is not limited to people with health problems. If you need to protect yourself from the risks of interception of confidential information by spyware (for example, when entering a username and password), you should use the virtual keyboard.
Step 4
Some applications have their own versions of this tool. So, to enable the virtual keyboard in Kaspersky Internet Security, open the control panel by double-clicking on the antivirus icon in the notification area on the taskbar. In the window that opens, go to the "Settings" section and click on the "Virtual keyboard" button.
Step 5
If you have problems entering text from a conventional keyboard, the virtual analogue is also irreplaceable. While working on the Internet, you can visit a site with free virtual keyboards that support a large number of languages. An example is the resource at
Step 6
Enter the text you need, copy and paste it into a document or a response form on a website. On some resources, you can turn on the virtual keyboard without leaving the page. Find the "Virtual Keyboard" link in the window and click on it with the left mouse button.
