Mathcad is a program, an environment for performing various mathematical and technical calculations on a computer, it is equipped with a simple graphical interface. This application allows you not only to make calculations, but also to build graphs based on them.

Instructions
Step 1
Start MathCad to complete the build. This application supports various kinds of functions. First, enter the expression for which you want to graphically display. In the panel of mathematical signs, click on the button on which the graph is displayed. A palette with examples of graphic elements will be displayed on the screen.
Step 2
Click in the palette on the button with the image of a two-dimensional chart, as a result its template will appear. Enter the name of the independent variable located along the X axis in the template input field, similarly enter the name for the positioning along the Y axis. Left-click outside the picture. The required formation in Matkad is complete.
Step 3
Zoom in on the construction. If you select it, the corners will display numbers that display its scale along the Y and X axes. By default, the graph in Mathcad is plotted on the x range from –10 to +10, and the scale along the Y axis is set automatically. After defining the function, specify the range for the argument x. To do this, write x: = -30 … 30 on the line with the formula.
Step 4
Change the appearance of the graph by right-clicking on the picture, select the "Format" option. In the "Axes" tab, turn on the grid, set the number of cells. In the "Traces" tab, you can set the formatting of lines, for example, set its appearance: dashed, solid, points. Go to the "Tags" tab.
Step 5
Enter the axis labels and the name of the graph itself in the appropriate fields. After selecting all the desired settings, you can save them for later use. To do this, go to the "Defaults" tab, check the "Use as defaults" box. To place two graphs on the same axes, write down the second function below the first function, for this click on the button with the letter "B", enter the formula and set the range, the graph will be built on the same axes.
