A game packed into several archives of the same size is usually a disc image of the game. The image is split into archives called desks (part) for easy uploading to sites and torrents.
In order to play such a game, you must first unpack it, then mount it, and then install it.
Instructions
Step 1
To unpack, you need the WinRAR archiver program (you can download it here: www.rarlab.com/download.htm)
After you install it, right-click on the first desk, for example Part01.zip or Part01.rar, and select "Extract Files". In the English version of WinRAR, this item in the context menu is called ‘Extract files’. The game image, usually as a single file, will be extracted to the same folder. After 100% extraction, you can delete the archives.
Step 2
Next, you need to mount the image file. Usually it is in ISO format, less often - MD * (MDS, MDF, etc.). The image is an exact copy of the entire structure of the disk and will require a virtual CD / DVD-ROM to run it. Install the shareware program Daemon Tools, better the Lite version, which does not require registration, restart the computer. After turning on the clock, in the tray area, you will see the Daemon Tools icon in the form of a disk with a lightning bolt.
Right-click on the Daemon Tools icon and select "Mount Disk" or "Mount Image" from the context menu, and then, using the explorer, select the disk image file in the window that appears.
Step 3
Finally, the game needs to be installed. If, after mounting the image, a promo menu with a proposal to install the game does not appear on the screen, then you need to start the installation in manual mode. This is done as usual. Go to "My Computer" and double-click on the virtual disk with the name and shortcut of the game and install the game following the instructions of the installer.
