Step 1
Download the archiving program required to open the archive with the game. The most famous among them are WinRar and WinZip.
Step 2
Right-click on the zipped file and select the "Properties" function from the system menu that appears. Press Ctrl + mouse click or just click on the file and select the "Get information" function from the menu that opens. This procedure is also carried out for the Mac OS operating system. This section should indicate the type of program with which it is possible to open the archive.
Step 3
Select the program that you will use to open the archive with the game. Be sure to specify the "Open with administrator rights" item. This often allows you to open even protected files. Otherwise, proceed to the next step.
Step 4
Download and install “File Reader” on your desktop, which allows you to open corrupted archives. If you cannot do this in this program, then there is a possibility that the file is completely damaged or was incorrectly packed.
