Most modern games are copy-protected so that each new player buys his own licensed copy of the game. Unfortunately, the popular Warcraft game is no exception. However, it is possible to create a disc image of the game using a virtual drive. You need an Alcohol emulator program and some free space on your hard drive.

Instructions
Step 1
Open the Alcohol program and make a copy-image of your Warcraft game disc. If you do not have this program, you can download it from the manufacturer's official website. Once the utility is downloaded, install it in the system directory of your hard drive on your computer. To create an image, click on the "Create images" item in the left part of the program window and specify the name of the image, the path to the drive and the location for storing the image. You will have to wait a little while the program completes the image creation process.
Step 2
Add the game disc image to the program window. Right-click on the main area of the Alcohol program, then "Add Image" and select the Warcraft disc image. The image will appear in the list, now it is available for emulation. Such operations can be performed with almost any disk that does not want to run without a licensed copy.
Step 3
Add the virtual drive to the system. To do this, in the settings in the "Virtual Disk" section, change the value from 0 to 1. A virtual drive will appear in the operating system with the letter of the partition next in alphabetical order. To implement this venture, mount the image to the drive. If you have multiple drives for certain games, then you will need to increase the number of virtual drives on your computer.
Step 4
Check if the game starts with a virtual drive in the form of a drive simulation. If not, turn off your computer and disconnect the drive itself from the motherboard. Once enabled, simulate the drive will be the only possible choice and the program will not see the difference.
Step 5
If you do not have access to the inside of a computer (for example, when the system unit is with warranty seals), you can use a special utility that will disable the real drive and replace it with a virtual one - StarFuck. You can find and download this program on the Internet.
