Protecting doors in Minecraft only makes sense if you are playing on multiplayer servers. Depending on the type of server, there are two global methods - prohibiting the actions of other players by capturing territory using special commands, or using clever traps if the server does not support the ability to programmatically capture territory.
Necessary
- Red stone
- Sand
- Water
- Lava
Instructions
Step 1
If it is possible to reserve territory on the server using commands or to “seize territory”, this information is necessarily publicly available. The list of commands, as a rule, lies on the forum or site accompanying the server. If such an opportunity is not provided, everything becomes much more complicated, since almost any server has so-called griefers. These are players who set themselves the task of harming other players as much as possible by destroying their houses and vandalizing. Accordingly, it is necessary to somehow protect your home and, of course, the door of the house.
Step 2
First of all, you need to understand that on servers with no "private" houses need to be built as far as possible from the place of general revival, while it is desirable to hide it in some inconspicuous place. Do not decorate the house with valuable blocks, any griffon will want to steal them, even without having the desire to invade the house.
Step 3
The easiest way to protect your house is to build it from solid blocks (for example, obsidian), then any griefer will have to break only the door, over which you need to put a block of sand, and pour lava over it. The fact is that the sand is a free-flowing block, which means that, having lost its support, it will fall down, and lava will rush behind it and set fire to the griffin. The downside of this trap is that it is disposable and also requires renewal. The flowing lava can set your home on fire, especially if it contains a lot of wool and wood blocks.
Step 4
The next option works well with iron doors, which take a long time to break if your house is made of solid blocks, the only "lazy" way for the gripper is to dig a tunnel. In this case, you can place a small lake of lava under the surface blocks or dig an abyss, the depth of which will definitely provide the troublemaker with death. In some cases, you can combine.
Step 5
You can shoot at the intruder, this again works well for houses made of solid blocks, for this, place dispensers directly opposite the door, dispensers in Minecraft act as cannons. Place a tension sensor or pressure plate behind the door. To ensure the destruction of the intruder, you can put two more dispensers on the sides of the door and attach their activation to the same pressure plate using a red stone. To do this, you can run redstone wires under the floor from the stove to the distributors. More about this is written in many guides and, in particular, in minecrafttopedia. The diagram of the distributor is attached with a picture, arrows or fireballs can be put inside.
Step 6
You can make an in-depth corridor two blocks deep directly behind the door, put pressure plates on the floor and place dispensers along its walls, if you put buckets of lava in them, the troublemaker will burn out.
