Instructions
Step 1
Download the program “Ccleaner” from the manufacturer's website
Run the installation executable file. During the installation of the program, the wizard will ask some questions: about the installation path, about creating shortcuts. If you are not sure of the correct choice, you can leave the settings that the program has by default.
Step 2
After installation, the program will start automatically. When you start it for the first time, Ccleaner will prompt you to perform an optimal cookie analysis. Agree. This will preserve your login credentials for various sites during the cleanup.
Step 3
In the main menu of the program, open the "cleaning" tab. On this tab, you can choose which files should be cleaned from your computer to increase the amount of free space. You can leave the parameters suggested by the program. Close the browser windows and click the "Analysis" button. After processing the data, the program will show exactly how much space on the disk is occupied by unnecessary files.
Step 4
Review the files that the program suggested for removal. If you think that you still need any of these files, uncheck this file type on the "windows" or "applications" tab.
Step 5
Click the "clear" button. Cleaning up may take a long time if there are a lot of files. After its completion, the program will issue a report on which files have been deleted and how much space has been cleaned up.
Step 6
On the "service" tab, you can see the list of installed programs. If you no longer use any program and do not want it to take up space on your computer, select it in the list and click the "uninstall" button.
