Step 1
Enchanting is the imposition of buffs on weapons, armor, tools, or books. The enchanting process spends experience, and the higher the desired level of enchantment, the more experience is needed.
Step 2
If desired, you can enchant items from villagers, this does not require experience, but emeralds are needed.
Step 3
You can enchant things directly using the enchanting table, or you can enchant a book and then transfer them from book to object using an anvil.
Step 4
To enchant an item, open the enchantment table and place the item in the slot. Next, select one of the three enchanting options from the table on the right. The symbols have no meaning, only the numbers are important - they mean the cost of the enchant in experience levels.
Step 5
Important - the enchanting table itself does not provide an opportunity to enchant things to the maximum level. To increase it, you need to surround the table with book tables.
Step 6
For the maximum level, you need fifteen cabinets located one block away from the enchanting table at the same level or above. There should be no foreign blocks between the table and cabinets.
Step 7
The enchanting table imposes random effects, depending on the selected level. The maximum number of enchantments that can be cast on one item is 4. Of course, mutually exclusive effects cannot be cast on one item.
Step 8
To control the enchantment, you can go the other way. Enchant the book. The enchanting technology is the same as with objects, however, it is practically pointless to enchant books at the thirtieth level, it is better to limit yourself to the fifteenth-seventeenth level. Since only one effect can be applied to one book.
Step 9
The advantage of enchanting books is that you can adjust the enchantments that you want to put on an item. Enchantments from books are transferred to objects on the anvil, this process also requires experience. In addition, thanks to books, you can enchant objects on objects that under no circumstances can be applied to them in the usual way. For example, enchant scissors with Silk Touch.
