Infernal growths or infernal warts are the only plants in the Nether or Hell in Minecraft. Finding them there is not very easy, since they grow exclusively in hellish fortresses.
Where to find a hellish wart?
Infernal fortresses are natural structures that in the Lower World arise in straight lines at approximately the same distance from each other. To find them, you must go strictly north or strictly south. Traveling through the Nether World can hardly be called a pleasant walk. Firstly, very often the path is blocked by lakes and seas of lava, contact with which is deadly, and secondly, in the Lower World there are unpleasant aggressive monsters - ghasts, which are very difficult to fight, because they fly high and "spit" fireballs. So, on a journey to the Lower World, you need to take at least a bow and arrow in order to shoot back from these monsters. It is advisable to grab a lot of cobblestones in order to build bridges over lava lakes.
Infernal warts or hellish growths grow exclusively on the sand of souls. In hellish fortresses there are whole plantations of these plants. They are usually found in the towers of fortresses. If you are going to set up Hellbug Farms in the Upper World, bring soul sand blocks with you.
Why are hellish warts needed?
Infernal Growth is a basic ingredient in Alchemy. Crude Potion, from which most potions are created, is created from water and warts in a brew stand. After the Crude Potion is created, the desired Secondary Potion is created by adding an additional ingredient. These potions can greatly simplify life and exploring the world.
To grow a hellish wart in the Upper World, it is enough to place blocks of soul sand on the floor and plant the seeds of the plant in it. Its growth does not depend on lighting, the presence of water or lava, the height of the room. The infernal growth does not grow linearly. Every twentieth fraction of a second, he can move to the next stage of his growth with a probability of 0.00407%. There are four stages of growth, if you destroy the growth block in the first three, only one seed will fall out of it. When the infernal wart is destroyed at the last stage, up to four seeds fall out.
Before sending to the Nether to search for a fortress, you can try to exchange a couple of cans of refractory potion from other players (if, of course, you are playing on a multiplayer server). The fact is that traveling through the Nether world in search of a hellish fortress without this potion is very dangerous and often leads to death. If you managed to buy or find a potion (for example, in the chests of abandoned mines), keep it on the quick access bar. In this case, after falling into lava, it is enough to use it to remove all negative effects. After that, you will have a few minutes to get out onto solid ground.
