DeviceLock ensures the security of working with data on your computer, preventing information leakage through various devices connected to it. The problem is that it is quite difficult to deactivate a running DeviceLock program.
Instructions
Step 1
Disable automatic launch of DeviceLock software on your computer. You can do this by changing the Startup menu in the list of programs that open from Start. Then close the applications you are using, save the necessary data and restart your computer. In this case, programs will not be loaded, however, everything may also depend on the type of your account, in some cases it is impossible to edit the startup list.
Step 2
To close DeviceLock, open the Windows Task Manager by pressing Alt + Shift + Esc or Alt + Ctrl + Delete. Find the DeviceLock process in the corresponding tab of the window that opens and right-click on it.
Step 3
In the context menu, select the End Process Tree option. In this case, it is important to take into account the restrictions imposed on your computer user account, it is best to perform this action on behalf of the administrator.
Step 4
If you are not going to use DeviceLock software in the future, remove it from your computer. To perform this action, you must have administrator rights or have access to an account with the ability to edit the list of installed programs.
Step 5
Please note that in order to uninstall a program, you must first close it and all processes started by DeviceLock while performing actions with it. It is best to disconnect removable drives and other storage devices that are not currently in use from your computer when doing this.
Step 6
Go to your computer's control panel and open the Add or Remove Programs menu, then find DeviceLock in the list. Delete it following the instructions in the menu items. Alternatively, you can run the uninstaller from the Programs menu in the Start list.
