If “Skype” turns on automatically when you start your computer, and you have a large list of contacts, then surely someone from your acquaintances will write to you, distracting you from work. And this and a number of other programs (“ICQ”, “Qip”, “Mail Agent”), as a rule, work in the background, that is, they are not displayed on the panel of open programs and documents. Disabling Skype takes a little more care than disabling a regular program.
Instructions
Step 1
Move the cursor over the right corner of the panel at the bottom of the desktop, find the “Skype” icon (a check mark on the background of a green, yellow or red crossed out circle). Click on the icon with the right mouse button.
Step 2
If the check mark is not visible, click the arrow to display all running programs. It will appear in the full list.
Step 3
Select Exit from the list of commands. If necessary (at the request of the program) confirm the decision to close.
Step 4
Try to close the program through the "Task Manager". Press “Alt Ctrl Delete” at the same time. In the Applications tab, click the program icon and click the End Process button. Close the "Task Manager" by clicking the red cross in the upper right corner or the "Alt F4" key.
