Don't expect great achievements right away. Before doing anything at all in Photoshop, you need to understand what it consists of, what it can, what it contains. Therefore, almost all courses on studying Photoshop begin with theoretical explanations: what are vector and raster images, bits, etc. Then comes the introduction to creating documents and layers in Photoshop. And then you will be introduced to the tools that are in the program.

After that, you can already try to create something yourself. Follow the lessons, take your time. You always have to start small, but very soon you will become a real professional. Gradually, you will learn how to process photographs and draw. To begin with, I recommend downloading the free course of Zinaida Lukyanova. Having mastered it, you can already decide in which direction you will study Photoshop further.

Once you get to a certain level, you will want more professional lessons. In this case, I recommend using the lessons from the site lynda.com. Here you can choose lessons in the directions you need. There is one drawback: these lessons are not translated into Russian. But you can already independently understand what the teacher is telling you. This will teach you step by step how to use Photoshop like a real professional.
