Often, letters come to the mail with links that you need to follow by copying them to the clipboard located in the browser. Novice Internet users do not quite understand where it is located and how to open it. It serves to remember the latest Internet addresses and exchange information. The clipboard is also used when copying texts from any editors, in this case the copied segment is saved in the computer's memory.
Instructions
Step 1
Open a browser window and wait until it is fully loaded. Find at the very top a line consisting of letters and numbers. Use it for further actions.
Step 2
Paste the link you need and follow it. If you want to share the link, then copy it by pressing the left mouse button and select the "copy" function, then paste it into the letter and send it. To view the data currently stored on the clipboard, paste C: WINDOWSsystem32clipbrd.exe. Then you will see all the information.
Step 3
If you want to see the previously visited pages, then click on the arrow that is located on the side of the buffer, a window should appear with Internet addresses that you can go to. The clipboard remembers the last addresses of the visited sites, which were followed by transitions.
Step 4
The keys are convenient to use when copying documents or parts of text in text editors and then moving them to the desired location.
To copy the necessary files to the clipboard, press Ctrl + C.
To cut files press Ctrl + X.
To insert the necessary files into the document, use the keyboard shortcut Ctrl + V.
Step 5
To view the folder that contains the clipboard, enter C: WINDOWSsystem32 into your browser window. Wait for the download and view the information.
