A user who is just starting to learn how to work on a computer may have questions: where to find the installed program, how to run it? If you can't find Adobe Photoshop, there are a few things you can do.

Step 1
A prerequisite is that Photoshop must be installed on your computer, otherwise there will be nothing to look for. During the installation of the editor on the PC, the "Installation Wizard" automatically creates a shortcut to the launch file on the desktop. It looks like a blue square with white Ps inside. Click on it with the left mouse button - the application will start.
Step 2
If the icon you want is not on your desktop, try looking for it in the Start menu - this is the second place where a shortcut to launch the program is automatically created. Click the Start button in the lower left corner of your screen or the Windows key on your keyboard (looks like a waving flag).
Step 3
Left-click on the "All Programs" item to view all the menus. Find the blue icon described above that says Adobe Photoshop CS3 or CS4 in the drop-down menu. Click on it with the left mouse button and wait for the application to load.
Step 4
In the event that the launch file is neither on the desktop nor in the "Start" menu, open the directory where the program is installed. By default, the editor is installed on drive C. Click on the "My Computer" icon on the desktop, in the window that opens, select the local drive C. Open the Program Files folder and find the Adobe folder and the Adobe Photoshop subfolder in the list. Click on the Photoshop.exe file with the left mouse button.

You can also use the search function. Press the Windows key or the Start button and select Search from the menu. A new dialog box will open. In the list of the fields "What do you want to find?" select "Files and Folders". The window will change its appearance.
Step 6
Enter in the first field the name of the file you are looking for - Photoshop - and press the Find button or press Enter. Wait until your request displays a list of found files. Select the Photoshop.exe file from the list by clicking on it with the left mouse button.
