As for the serial number of the desktop computer, it is determined by the ID of your motherboard. To find the serial number of your home PC, you need the AIDA64 Extreme Edition software. Download it from the Internet. The program is commercial, but there is a free term of use, which is one month.

Install the application on your computer. Start it up. Wait a while while the program collects information about your system. In the right window of the main menu, click on "Motherboard". In the next window, also select "Motherboard".

A window will open that will provide detailed information about your motherboard. This information will be broken down into several sections. Find the section titled "Motherboard Properties". There is an ID string in the motherboard properties. This is the serial number of your computer.
