Turn on your computer, wait for Windows to start. Another way to find information on your sound card is to use programs such as “SISandra” and “Everest”. These programs provide complete information on your computer, including even manufacturers and release dates of devices installed on your computer.

If you have DirectX installed, you can run Direct diagnostic, select “Sound” from the menu, and you will also find out the name of the sound card. The last option is to disassemble the system unit.
