Instructions
Step 1
Download a converter software for MP4 and AVI formats. Movavi Video Converter, Total Video Converter, Free MP4 to AVI Converter are suitable programs. Find the application you need using an Internet search engine and download it. Install the downloaded program using the installer, following the instructions on the screen.
Step 2
Launch the installed application using the shortcut on the desktop or through the Start menu. Go to the "Settings" - "Conversion" or "Profiles" tab. Set the resolution of the converted MP4 file and the final one to AVI. If these items are missing in your selected application, then you can skip this step.
Step 3
Click the "File" - "Open" tab. Select the file you want to recode. In the "Destination folder" menu, specify the location to save the converted file, and then click "Convert". Wait until the end of the procedure, which can take quite a long time, depending on the quality and length of the video.
