The product code is a kind of phone identifier - each color, each mobile modification, and each country has its own product code. The factory product code is indicated on the stickers under the phone batteries, but in some cases it may not coincide with the current one - there are a number of different ways to programmatically change its value.

Instructions
Step 1
Determining the product code is important if its owner wants to determine whether his mobile is legally imported into the country - that is, whether it is "gray" and whether it is intended for sale on the territory of other states.
Step 2
Enter the special service code on the mobile keypad. This method is available for most manufacturers and phone models. The codes differ depending on the manufacturer of the phone.
Step 3
Download a special application - the N. A. V. I. utility, for example, if you could not find out the service code for a specific manufacturer. Run the program and find your phone model in it. Working window of the N. A. V. I. utility is divided into three independent parts - Products, Releases, Variants.
Step 4
Use the slider to find the phone model you want in the Products list. After the required mobile phone model is found, double-click on it, and a list of mobile phone releases will appear in the Releases field. Selecting one of them will display product code options for a specific phone brand in the Variants field.
Step 5
Several different options are available due to different product codes for the phone colors and the countries for which they are intended. To determine the exact product code, you must sequentially scroll through their options in the Variants field and select the option that suits the user's conditions.
Step 6
N. A. V. I. program allows different sorting methods to simplify the process of finding the desired product code. A drop-down list is located above each part of the program window. It contains several items - Name, Date, Series. To select phone names alphabetically, click on the Name item, to sort the mobile phones by their release date, select the Date item (moreover, specific dates are not displayed, they are located in the utility's database itself), and sorting by series is performed by selecting the Series item.
