Every user of the WordPress plugin WooCommerce has probably faced the problem of organizing a convenient product filtering system in their online store. It turns out there are a large number of free plugins that allow you to customize the filter system for WooCommerce. But I chose the YITH Ajax Product Filter plugin.

Step 2

Enter plugin management, check how the fields are filled in (in Russian or English). Correct if necessary.

Step 3

Then everything is quite simple - in managing the appearance, the widgets menu, you will have two widgets of the same name. One will allow you to add a filter widget by the desired parameter with a page reload, and the other without. Add the selected type in the standard way.

Step 4

The filter widget is added one by one parameter, respectively. Add the required number of filters according to your parameters.

Step 5

Filters are added only on those pages and in those products where they are needed. For example, if you have four-person tents and chairs with a back, then one filter will not appear in two categories at once. In other words, you can sort tents by capacity, and chairs by backs. This is important because earlier plugins did not allow hiding extra filters on pages where they were not needed in free versions.
