Many owners of IPhone 3G, after updates and unlocks to the new version of the modem from the iPad, face the problem of the GPS module not working. To get rid of this problem, you can downgrade the modem and restore its functionality.

Instructions
Step 1
Check your bootloader version to downgrade your firmware. To do this, use the f0recast application (you can download it from the link https://ih8sn0w.com/). Run the program with administrator rights, connect the phone to the computer.
Step 2
Run Cydia, install all updates, then search for Fuzzyband and install this application to downgrade your modem. Then download the file with the certificate
Step 3
On the connected phone to the computer using the file manager, copy the unzipped certificate file to the folder along the following path: /private/var/stash/Applications.pwn/Fuzzyband.app.
Step 4
Run the Fuzzyband program by looking for its icon on the SpringBoard to downgrade the modem's firmware. In the program window, click on the Downgrade button, wait for the process to end. After the application reports successful completion, the phone may lose the network.
Step 5
Reload it. If your phone was unlocked before performing these actions using the Ultrasn0w program, then re-unlocking is no longer needed. If unlock has flown from it, then install Ultrasn0w using Cydia from this repository repo666.ultrasn0w.com.
Step 6
Make sure the procedure went well, make a few calls, launch your browser and open any page. Launch maps, navigation should work and determine location. If nothing works, switch your phone to airplane mode and back twice.
Step 7
Then go to the "Operator selection" menu, uncheck the "Automatic search" box, turn off the phone. Turn on and back to this menu and check the auto search box. After completing these operations, the phone will return to normal operation with a downgraded version of the modem firmware.
