Some users prefer to comfortably watch the downloaded movies on the TV screen. But there are reasons why it is not always possible to burn a video you like to disk.

PC with an optical drive that supports DVD burning; - access to the Internet; - a program for burning DVDs; - disc for cleaning the laser head; - a cloth for cleaning optical discs
Instructions
Step 1
Please note that your operating system software package does not include a DVD burning utility. Using the network resources, download and install on your computer specialized software for working with DVD-media.
Step 2
If you are having trouble burning a movie to DVD, make sure your computer's optical drive can handle the task. Examine the labels on the front of the drive for the types of digital media supported by the device.
Step 3
Check if the digital media you prepared is intended for recording the movie and if it is labeled “DVD-R or DVD-RW”. Please be aware that a movie may not record on a DVD disc due to dirt on the optical surface. Gently clean the disc with a soft cloth, wiping lightly from center to edge.
Step 4
If the program generates an error while burning a movie to a DVD, carefully inspect the media for mechanical damage or factory defects. Finding scratches, cracks, chips or other flaws on the surface, refuse to use it and install a high-quality analogue in the drive.
Step 5
The movie may not be recorded on DVD media due to the malfunctioning state of the optical drive caused by a drop in power or contamination of its mechanisms. Clean the printhead laser with a special disc by purchasing it from any computer store.
Step 6
If cleaning the printhead laser does not work for you, contact a computer service center. Experts will check the optical drive mechanism and give an opinion on its performance. If the malfunction is beyond repair, replace the drive.
