There are times when you need to place a preview of an image on a website page. The picture exposed in the preview mode is enlarged when pressed, and the user has the opportunity to see all the details of interest to him. There are several ways to make this preview.
Instructions
Step 1
Upload the image to a third-party photo hosting service and insert the link you want on your website. Go to the page of the exchanger that suits you, and, using the appropriate buttons, indicate where the image will be downloaded from: from the Internet or from your computer. In the first case, copy the link to the image from the address bar in the browser window and paste it into the designated field on the photo hosting. In the second case, click on the "Browse" button and specify the directory where your picture is located on your computer. Click on the "Download" button and wait for the operation to complete.
Step 2
In order for your image to be enlarged by mouse click, copy the link located in the "Preview" field ("Preview", "Click to enlarge"), and paste it into your resource. As an alternative to such captions, different options for the size of the picture can be given. For example, for the full size of the image, the value can be 600x450, and for the preview - 200x150.
Step 3
Alternatively, open a page on your site for editing. In the "Images" group on the options panel, click the "Browse" button and specify the path to the image saved on your computer. If you want to upload several images at once, press the required number of times on the [+] icon and repeat the operation for each image. For each uploaded image, a code will be generated ($ IMAGE1 $, $ IMAGE2 $ and so on). It will appear to the right of the "Browse" button in a separate field, paste this code in the desired place on the page.
Step 4
To the right of the field with the code, the fields with the image resolution in the form of a preview will become available for editing. Specify how tall and wide your images should be in preview mode. If you wish, you can additionally change the data in the "Maximum dimensions of the full image" group. Click on the "Save" button. Previews placed in this way are enlarged when clicked in a new tab. If you want the image to be enlarged without leaving the page, insert the appropriate script on the site.
