When working with graphic editors, it is necessary to use a monitor with an extended screen diagonal, this will facilitate the performance of your tasks, and also reduce eye strain. Not every user can afford to buy such a monitor, but this is not the main task of designers and photographers. If you use the tools they work with wisely, you can get by with a standard monitor.

Step 1
To enlarge an image or the entire window on the screen, you can use keyboard shortcuts (hot keys). There are three pairs of such combinations, each pair includes an action to increase and decrease the size of the image. By holding down the keys Ctrl + "plus" you can zoom in on the image, and Ctrl + "minus" will reduce the image. To proportionally change the image, as well as the size of the window, use the keyboard shortcuts Ctrl + alt="Image" + "plus" and Ctrl + alt="Image" + "minus". The third pair of keys are shortcuts that set the image scale: Ctrl + alt="Image" + 0 (zero) for 100% zoom, and Ctrl + 0 (zero) to fit the image to the window size.
Step 2
You can also enlarge or reduce images using the enlargement tool. It works in the same way as in other graphics viewers. On the toolbar, select the magnifying glass icon, then select a mode, increase or decrease (plus or minus). The control action will be clicking with the cursor on the image.
Step 3
If you do not select the value of this tool (plus or minus), you can get any image size. All you need to do is use the tool, select an area of the photo and click it with the tool, the image will increase to the size you indicated.
Step 4
You can also change the scale of the photo in the image navigation bar. You can do this with the slider located under the thumbnail by grabbing it with the left mouse button.
