When posting images on a website or blog, you often have to adjust the size of the images. Most often we are talking about increasing them. In most cases, this does not require special programs for working with images; the standard Picture Manager application included in the Microsoft Office application package installed on a personal computer is sufficient.

Instructions

Step 1

Select the file containing the image you want to enlarge. Move the mouse cursor over the file and right-click on it. In the window that appears, select "Open With" and "Microsoft Office Picture Manager".

Step 2

With Picture Manager open, use the second method to open files. To do this, on the control panel, click the "Picture shortcuts" button and in the field that appears, select the file you need or even several images.

Step 3

Make sure the folders containing the images you want appear in the shortcut area. If there are no folders, you must add them to the specified area. To do this, find the folder with the required pictures and use the "Add picture shortcut" button.

Step 4

After the desired image opens in the preview area, click the "Edit Pictures" button on the top panel. The task pane will open on the right side of the screen. Select the task "Resize" below.

Step 5

Select the resizing options. You can fit the picture to its original size or choose the desired length and width of the image in pixels. To do this, enter in the appropriate boxes the size to which you plan to enlarge the image. You can also set the length and width of the picture as a percentage of the original size.

Step 6

At the bottom of the taskbar, review the dimensions of the future image. If no adjustment is required, click the “OK” button. Save the changes made by clicking the corresponding button on the control panel.

Step 7

To work with several adjacent patterns at the same time, select the first pattern in the group, then press and hold the Shift key and select the last pattern in the group. To select a row of non-adjacent patterns, enter sketch mode, select the first image, press and hold the “Ctrl” key while selecting all other patterns.
