For Edimax routers
The entrance to the router control menu is located at 192.168.2.1. In the navigation menu, press the "Basic settings" button and select the "Wireless network" item. In the list that has opened, you must select "Security Settings" and click the "Next" button. In the appeared control menu, select the required encryption type from the “Encoding” drop-down list, and set the “WPA BCC” toggle switch to the “WPA2 AES” position. The value of the connection key should be entered in the "Access key" field, having previously selected the "Passphrase" value as the "Access key format" and save the settings.
For Asus routers
The entrance to the router control menu is located at 192.168.1.1. The navigation bar is located in the left sidebar and looks like an explorer. Having opened the "Wireless" group, you need to go to the "Interface" tab and set a value for the "Security Type" parameter by selecting the desired encryption type. The "Security option" and "Encryption" parameters should be set to "Automatic", and in the "PSK Phassphrase" field, enter the value of the authentication key, after which the settings should be saved.
For Tenda routers
The entrance to the router control menu is located at 192.168.0.1. On the navigation pane, open the "Wireless Setup" item and go to the "Wireless Security" tab. A menu will appear in the window that opens, where there is a drop-down list next to the "Security Mode" item. In it, you need to select the desired type of encryption, and in the "Password" field, enter the corresponding key value. After completing the above steps, you need to save the settings.
